Being a student of Law Centre-II (LC-II), Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, is truly a matter of pride for me. LC-II is not just a college, it’s an institution that shapes our identity as law students and future professionals. Situated in the heart of Delhi University’s North Campus, LC-II carries forward the rich legacy of the Faculty of Law, which is counted among the largest and most respected law schools in Asia.
At LC-II, learning goes beyond textbooks. Along with classroom lectures by experienced professors and practicing advocates, we get ample opportunities to participate in moot courts, legal aid programs, debates, seminars, and internships in District Courts, the Delhi High Court, and even the Supreme Court. These experiences have given me real exposure to the legal profession and helped me grow both academically and personally.
The environment here is vibrant and challenging, with students from all over India bringing diverse perspectives. Whether it’s a serious discussion on constitutional law or a friendly chai-point debate after class, LC-II constantly keeps us engaged, inspired, and connected to the real world of law.
My University – Delhi University (DU)
As part of Delhi University (DU), I feel I belong to something much bigger than just a college. DU is not only one of India’s most prestigious universities but also a symbol of youthful energy, diversity, and excellence. With more than 90 colleges, 16 faculties, and countless societies, DU truly offers an unmatched experience.
Walking across the North Campus, you can see how lively DU is – students rushing to classes, rehearsing for theatre productions, preparing for fests, or engaging in heated political debates. The university is known for producing some of the country’s finest leaders, judges, lawyers, writers, and thinkers, and being here constantly motivates me to dream big.
What I love most about DU is its inclusive and democratic spirit. No matter where you come from, you find your space here. The cultural fests, academic events, sports tournaments, and even casual canteen conversations make DU more than just a place of study – it’s a community, a family, and an unforgettable journey.
